The ingredient list of NUI NONI Original is short \u2014 and that is entirely intentional. Four fruits, one process, no shortcuts. In this post we look behind the recipe: what’s in it, why it’s in it, and what deliberately is not<\/b> in it.<\/p>\n

Four fruits, one balance<\/h2>\n

The base is fermented noni pur\u00e9e from French Polynesia \u2014 at 41 %, the largest share. Added to it are three direct juices: red grape (29 %)<\/b>, pomegranate (20 %)<\/b> and blueberry (10 %)<\/b>. Their role is clearly defined: to give the intense, characterful noni note a fruity frame without hiding it.<\/p>\n

We round off the taste of the noni \u2014 we don’t distort it. Character stays character.<\/div>\n

The heart of it: fermented noni pur\u00e9e<\/h2>\n

Unlike many juices, we don’t press the noni but process it as a whole fruit<\/b> \u2014 through a natural lactic-acid fermentation. Why organic direct juices instead of concentrate?<\/h2>\n

Concentrates are exposed to high heat during production. We use exclusively direct juices (NFC \u2014 “not from concentrate”), which are processed more gently. You can taste it: dark red, berry-like, distinctive. The three juices bring their own sweetness and acidity and make the daily ritual more pleasant.<\/p>\n

Iridoids: why NONI does without preservatives<\/h2>\n

The skin and flesh of the noni contain natural plant compounds, the iridoids<\/b>. For us they are practically relevant above all for one reason: they are largely responsible for the noni pur\u00e9e being naturally shelf-stable. That is precisely why NUI NONI Original does without added preservatives<\/b> \u2014 the fruit largely provides its own shelf life.<\/p>\n

What’s not in it<\/h2>\n

Just as important as the ingredient list is what’s missing: no added water, no fruit concentrate, no preservatives, no added sugar.<\/b> It contains exactly what it says \u2014 four fruits, gently processed, bottled and lab-tested in Vorarlberg, with certified organic origin (AT-BIO-301).<\/p>\n
