The freshwater alga chlorella in capsules
NUI Chlorella 620 mg is a food supplement with the freshwater alga Chlorella vulgaris. Each capsule contains 620 mg chlorella. The recommended daily dose is 2 capsules, which is 1,240 mg chlorella a day. A pack of 60 capsules therefore lasts about one month.
620 mg per capsule, 1,240 mg per daily dose
The figure in the product name refers to a single capsule. Since you take 2 capsules a day, the daily dose is 1,240 mg chlorella. You will find this value in the table of ingredients as well, which always states the amount per daily dose. Chlorella vulgaris is the botanical name of the alga, and this is how it appears in the list of ingredients.
What else is in the capsule
The complete list of ingredients has two entries: chlorella (Chlorella vulgaris) and the capsule shell. The shell is made of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) instead of gelatine, which is why the product is vegan. The capsule contains no anti-caking agents and no preservatives. The net weight of a pack is 53 g.
How to take it
Take 2 capsules daily, as stated on the label; it does not specify a particular time of day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
