What the 650 mg in the name means
The amount in the product name refers to L-lysine hydrochloride per capsule. This is the compound in which the L-lysine is contained in the capsule. Without the hydrochloride part, 520 mg L-lysine per capsule remain. Both amounts appear on the label, and you will find both in the nutrient table further up as well.
An amino acid without a reference value
L-lysine is an amino acid. There is no nutrient reference value (NRV) for amino acids, which is why the table shows a dash instead of a percentage. The EU has not authorised any health claim for L-lysine. That is why this page only describes what is in the capsule, how much of it and how to take it.
Only two ingredients
