Why violet glass for so long?
Violet glass shields the contents particularly well from light – elegant, protective, high-quality. For a company focused on nature-based quality, it was the obvious choice for a long time.
The problem: high-quality, but expensive and heavy
Glass is expensive and heavy – and customers pay for both (price + shipping). On top of that, glass can break in transit: returns, replacements, resources used twice.

We are making the switch step by step, starting where the effect is greatest: with the large packs. The small jars remain as usual for now.
